Free-ist country in the world and.......
I am in a country which people live (or sometimes die) to be free. I am an immigrant waiting for my green card. A legal one. Why am I being treated like a prisoner. No freedom, no mobility, no job prospect. Why am I like this? This is required by the USCIS US Citizenship and Immigration. WTF? If this is for a year, it is ok. But since the USCIS has a huge backlog to clear....my apps could take years.
If we change job, or get promoted in anyway, we will have to start again with our process. Which means another f%^&king numbers of years more. I am really sick and tired of waiting especially now I have time restriction. So how is my experience here in US. It is generally good. I have very good friends here. Life here is slower and more pleasant but just don't feel very good with all the restrictions. I really hope to get this over with in within a year or a year and a half. I want to be with my wife and begin a new life together.
Hopefully Congress will have a resolution soon for the illegal and mostly legals ones too. Praying very hard!! :)

Full House Korean Drama
First I was quite skeptical at watching Full House...Korean Drama. I did not have the DVD or VCD but you could essentially watch all of the episodes from youtube.com. All in all it was quite entertaining. The 3/4th of the show can be ignored because of nonsensical tug-of-war between the main 2 characters which does not make much sense. Why is it so popular? RAIN.....he is the hottest thing in Asia right now. After watching as Lee Yeong Jae, I cannot see him as the big R&B Pop king of Asia. Just remember him as the scrawny, hot-tempered little kid from Full House. Anyway..here is to start you off.
Last Night
Went to my friend's B'day dinner and met a lot of friends. Seems like they like to talk about themselves a lot. Hmmm is it because they want all their friends know how well they been doing and you SUCK? Maybe and maybe not. I think it really depends a lot on the person delivery. I am always thinking positive about it. So I will listen and learn something from them. Good or bad, mistake or take advantage of their misfortune or fortune...this is really what a get off. But overall it was a good dinner and the crowds are ever more sophisticated...:)
Thank you Leo and Casper for providing great company.

What does it take to make life more meaningful.
What does it take? What is life? Where are we heading? Are we too arrogant and ignorant to acknowledge that there are some huge moral and righteous problem with our society? I don't want to sound like a broken record but I think we are making excuses for ourselves to ignore the wrongs that we do. Is there always a gray area that the wrongs and the rights can co-exist? Yes I think there are somethings that are in the gray area but I would not want to go there as much as possible. The reason is that if you do it all the time, all issues or problems will have a gray area and there is always no wrongs or no rights. In this age where we seek freedom, there is a danger blurring the rights with the wrongs. Anything can be a reason and there is no right or wrong way of doing things.
All I can control is the decision that I make myself. I hope that the decision that I make will always be the most right. I hope that the people around me will see me as a moral guiding compass. Hope that I will always be true to myself and true to the people that i most loved and most respect.

Roberto Gonzales..OMG what is wrong with this society
Hey it is not called contradiction of words, or mismanagement of firing of US attorneys...it is called lying and conspiracy. I think the White House needs to get into the reality and makes things right. They need to put their shoes into our perspective and think about what they are actually doing to this country. I feel so sorry for the people that voted this administration into office. I think they are either regretting it now or just plain ignorant and still believe that their White House Administration is right. Open your eyes and see....do not get into the mix of the Washington Spin machine. Same goes to the Dem which put so much pork barrel items into the Iraq War Bill....show by example and not by doing the same thing as the Rep. They need to open up and lead by example. People can see it.

Morality...where are we heading
Have we lost our morality? Are we pushing the envelope of our believes and our morality? Where are we heading? Are we rewriting our morality? We are and I am afraid we might lose our sight on what morality is. Is morality related to our religion? Yes and no. Often we confuse that religion is way of morality. But there is a difference. Moral is defined as "Of or concerned with the judgment of the goodness or badness of human action and character" according to American Heritage Dictionary. But often we refer moral as the goodness of human action and character. Does the definition refer to religion? No! Can a religious man have no morality? Yes... Can a non-religious man have good moral? Yes. I just want to make the distinction.
I am afraid that we have lose sight of what we were and going to nowhere to where we want to go. What is our goal in today's world? In the advancement in our technologies, it seems like we are busier than ever. Technology is suppose to give help us in our day to day task. Yes technology can make complex task easier but are we, us humans, trying to do more than what we intend to do? Did you ask yourself before what you are doing, is it for the goodness of humanity? Are you contributing to this world or to society or even to your fellow human. I think we have lose sight in what we want to achieve. The primary problem that I see in our world is money and power....which incidently is often our goal is life. We have been bombarded with the images on TV, magazines and everywhere that we need to have this item and have that item....and if not, we will not belong to a certain part of the society that we desired to belong to. I think a lot of us, given the opportunity wants to be the rich and famous....is this the part of the society that we want to belong. Does this inheritly ingrain in our genetics to be strong and powerful?
To summarize my point....we need to look at ourself to know where we are heading in the future. The future is here and will go on whether you are on board or not, please make sure that you know where you want to head and is it the RIGHT future you want for your children and their children after that. Please be responsible, we might be the last hope of our future.....Good Luck and Godspeed in our journey.

PS3 the winner...by 2010...what a joke
Maybe Research and Markets from Dublin needs to think about the playability factor. I have the Wii and my friend has the PS3. I am sure that Xbox 360 is a very prominent competitor since they have a solid online presence. Wii...is fun fun fun...I have tried it with my friend which are between 30s to 40s and they have so much fun. It is not intimidating at all. PS3 is a force. It is an awesome machine. Don't get me wrong, it could be the most dominating console of all time if it is price a little close to the Wii's $250. It is a serious machine for beautiful graphics and awesome physics. Well...maybe Sony will lower their entry price in a year or 2 and Blu-ray wins the HD war, then only PS3 will be a dominating force to be reckon with. Nintendo SNES has fallen before....it will be easy for Sony to get over their head and lose this round. Long live Nintendo.......they get my kudos for staying true.
