I have a very very different perspective on this war. With today circumstances, here are what the prez could do:
1. Issue a no weapon law in Baghdad. Create a safe zone to all the people that lives there. Take away all the guns and any sort of weapons. Make it a harsh punishment to actually possesses arms.
2. Create a perimeter check point to filter out the weapons from coming in.
3. Media black out until the zone has been stabilized.
4. Anyone that provokes civil unrest or cause sectarian upheaval is deemed the enemy of the state.
5. Safe guard the natural resouces to pay for the rebuilding effort.
6. Campaign to have women rights to speak or even in control. They have more compassion and cry out for peace.
7. Allow foreign investment and provide incentives to establish business and create jobs. When people can earn their living, who wants to fight.
These are just some suggestions...hope the baker's council can help the Prez get out of this big mess. Mission accomplished...yeah right!

Iraq Civil War Debate: Waste of time
Wow...debate about calling it civil war or secterian violence. What are the differences...other than the spelling, the result is still the same. Thousands of people died and more to come and all we can talk about is whether it is a civil war or not. What a joke this is. With price to pay too. Yes we can talk all we want but the fact does not change...refugees, famine, children suffers, mother worries, father's life is ever harder, unnecessary sacrifice from the troops....what for? What is it good for? Sounds familiar? It is a total joke. Please...media..please report on things that matters.

What it matters......thank you Iris
Today something happened to a close friend of mine. Her dog was knocked down by a car. It was an accident. The dog ran out of her house when the door was opened. It was a blind corner, the car was coming, the dog was running out....bad combination. She survive and got up and ran back to the house. An hour later, she was dead. It just shows the dog's place of ownership and how its instinct to go back to her home...... her master to spend the last hour with her closest companion. Sorry for the lost. It was a nice and unforgetful time...thank you Iris.
